Tell us about you, when did you start creating your product?
My name is Marloes Bruijn (36 years) from The Netherlands. After finishing the Art Academy (Art-Director) I started my company Fates together with my mother in 2005. We created our own bag collection in our own workshop in Kashmir India with a local family. We design shawls and work with local weavers in the West-Bengal India and we travel to Jaipur in India to work with jewellery craftsman and stonecutters for our jewellery collection. We always work with the Fair trade principles.
Tell us about you...
My name is Jan D'Sa. I grew up in Abu Dhabi and now live in Dubai. Though I have a technical background, I am also creative, thanks to my artistic family. My mum is an artist and musician, my dad comes from a musician family. So my siblings and I ended up being musicians and artists of sorts. Currently, I run my own communications consulting business and love events reporting and blogging too.
