About Croutique

Croutique is an online marketplace website featuring the very best of local handicrafts and unusual gift items. We will be featuring great gift items, things to treat yourself too and also offer a way for your family and friends abroad to be able to buy gifts to be delivered locally in the UAE.

How does it work?

Products on Croutique are uploaded by approved, individual sellers. When you purchase an product you are placing the order with the seller. Croutique takes the order and collects the payment as the agent of the seller. When a purchase is made, both the buyer and the seller receive a notification email with all the details needed to complete the order- the buyer receives confirmation of the order and payment and the seller receives the order, with any personalisation requests, so the product can be made and delivered to the buyer.

Sharing products you like

You can share products you like through many channels like whatsapp, email, Facebook etc. so if you want to send a gift hint or idea with a friend- go for it! You can see this option under the Add To Cart yellow button on a product page.

Contact the seller

Some of Croutique’s sellers make beautiful customized products and you may wish to contact them before purchasing. Click on the Contact Seller button on the right of the screen when you are looking at a particular product. The seller will receive your query and get in touch with you.

For your privacy and safety, keep all contact regarding an order online and do not exchange personal contact details

How can I pay on Croutique?

You can pay for your purchases using MasterCard and Visa debit and credit cards. Payments will show on your bank statement under the account name EXPAT WEB SERVICES FZ, which is the owner of Croutique.com.

Can I pay cash on delivery?

We’re sorry but we don’t operate a cash on delivery service.

My Croutique account

Once you have registered on Croutique.com upon first time purchase, you can log in and access Your Account from the top right corner of the website- here will be your profile details, order information, messages and your wish list for any items you have saved.

How do I get the goods I have ordered?

Some of our sellers have opted to use Fetchr as a delivery service who will deliver to your door. Other sellers may want to deliver their goods to you personally or by other methods. Delivery information will be available to view during checkout.

Is Croutique safe to shop on with my credit card?

Yes! Your credit card number is transmitted by SSL directly to a secure electronic vault. Your personal and credit card details are safe at all times.

“Remember My Details” Feature when paying with credit or debit card

There is a point of purchase feature that will autofill your credit or debit card information for future payments. If you leave the box ticked, next time you purchase, you will simply need to type in the CVC number that is on the back of the card. If you don’t want to use this feature simply untick the box.

Croutique.com does not store full card information.

You can also add more than one card for ease of payment by clicking the “New Card” button and your cards can be managed from the Card Payment screen.

Returns Policy

Each store on Croutique has its own refund policies about returns and exchanges. Please check on the store page to find out what their policies are.

Returns or refunds are not offered due to change of mind.

For hygienic reasons, no returns are allowed for earrings, swimwear or any intimate clothing.

Returns, refunds or exchanges are not possible in cases of custom made or personalized items.

Croutique will only consider items purchased for return if:

  1. The item received is damaged
  2. An item other than ordered has been received
  3. The item differs majorly from the images and description in its listing. If you feel that the item you have purchased is not as described in its listing, please contact us.

Faulty or Incorrect Items

You must notify the seller within 48 hours of receipt of the goods of any faults or incorrect item received through the Croutique messaging system.

The seller will offer a replacement or exchange on the item.

If this is not possible, Croutique will issue store credit or a refund for the net value of the goods.

The goods must be returned to the seller in their original condition with all labels and packaging intact, within 7 days of receipt.

Do bear in mind that as a lot of the items for sale on this website are handmade slight variations and imperfections may be present but not constitute a fault.

Out of Stock

If the goods you have purchased are not available or out of stock a refund or store credit to the same value will be offered.

Once you have accepted delivery of the goods ordered through this website you become the owner of them at your own risk. Croutique and the sellers are not liable for their destruction or loss after this point.
